Musical artist

Sonny Long is a musician, songwriter, and poet.

In early 2005, Sonny Long started his own business, SL Vision. During this time Sonny Long and his company established the Terrance Harraway Scholarship Fund[1] in memory of his cousin who was murdered in 1994. He also became actively involved in the community by launching Youth Business Conferences[2] which encourages young men and women to further their education and gain knowledge on the importance of business ownership. Due to his community service and for bringing a positive spotlight to the City of Phoenix, AZ Mayor Phil Gordon, awarded Sonny Long a Proclamation/Key to the City on April 11, 2008.[3]
