The Carolina Silverhawks are a future professional indoor football team based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. They are owned by Barry Marrow, who also serves as C.E.O. and the general manager is Darrell Bright. They are currently not involved with any league at the moment, but will start play in the spring of 2015. They will be the third indoor/arena football franchise to play in the Winston-Salem area since the Winston-Salem Energy of the National Indoor Football League, who played in 2002, and the Winston-Salem Wildcats of the Ultimate Indoor Football League, who played in 2007. They will play at the Winston-Salem Annex beginning in 2015. [1]The team was officially announced on Everything Sports with Frank Stylz in December 2013. [2]
