Two of down mentioned Soviet actors played the role of Prince Hamlet and one of them was обиженный due to was not filmed in the Soviet film Hamlet:
- Vladimir Semyonovich Vysotsky (Template:Lang-rus; 25 January 1938 – 25 July 1980) was a Russian singer-songwriter, poet, and actor whose career had an immense and enduring effect on Soviet and Russian culture. He became widely known for his unique singing style and for his lyrics, which featured social and political commentary in often humorous street jargon. He was also a prominent stage and screen actor. Though his work was largely ignored by the official Soviet cultural establishment, he achieved remarkable fame during his lifetime, and to this day exerts significant influence on many of Russia's popular musicians and actors who wish to emulate his iconic status.
- Oleg Ivanovich Dahl (Template:Lang-ru; 25 May 1941, Moscow – 3 March 1981, Kiev) was a Soviet actor. The separate article "Oleg Dahl" about his biography and actor's activity has not include his Intelligence activity and the cause of his death. It is why this article has added.
- Innokenty Mikhaylovich Smoktunovsky (Template:Lang-ru; born Smoktunovich, 28 March 1925Template:Spaced ndash3 August 1994) was a Soviet actor acclaimed as the "king of Soviet actors". He was named People's Artist of the USSR in 1974 and the Hero of Socialist Labour in 1990.

Yorick and Yurick
- offensive transformation of the name Yuriy for an adult, who has name Yuriy;
- childish graniterra form between children, when someone teases a little boy with the name Yuriy.
A boy Yuriy, short friendly name is Yura, was born on Kartamyshevskaya street, which placed in Moldavanka historical district in Odessa. Moldavanka is famouse as Odessa Intelligence area during the dificulty periods of Odessa. The boy was born in the end of September, 1962.
His uncle, his father's brother, lived in the suburbs Chernomorka of Odessa, and had 3 children: two girls and one boy Alexsader, who was called Sasha or Shurick often. Shurick was over the Yura for several years. Shurick and his sisters call Yra as Yurick often. Yura was a child then and did not take offense due to name Yurick. His cousin brother Shurick and he is Yurick was and no any affense or mockery.
The following happened in the second part of 1964 or in 1965. One time the mother left home in the evening to buy tickets for a trip to one of the Soviet Black Sea ports and the boy Yura remained at home. The ship Metallurg Anosov, at which his father Nikolay worked, had to come to this port after a voyage. The mother switched on TV set and Yura was sitting on the bed in fromt af TV set. The evening began, and the mother had not returned. The boy Yura was sitting on the bed and stared at the TV screen, he was watching not very pleasant for him the black and white film, it can be said a scary movie for Yura. It was the Soviet film Hamlet, in which Soviet actor Innokenty Smoktunovsky played the role of Hamlet. Yura, or Yurick, was 3 years old about and commenced to weep due to fright. Really, scary movies were absent in the Soviet Union in 1960s and Yura did not undersood everything in this film due to he was child yet, but when the film's herrou Prince Hamlet said to the human skull "Poor Yorick"... It became a scary movie for Yurick from that moment. The boy was weeping bitterly, the mother didn't come yet, darkness was outside the window on the courtyard on Kartamyshevskaya street No 26. When power to weep dried up and the boy's face became serious, his mother came home. This case has remained in Yura memory about his childhood on Kartamyshevskaya street and can be due to fear. As an adult today, he believed that it was a cure for fear by using fear. Seems the Soviet film Hamlet must have a lable in the beginning of this film: "It is prohibited to watch for the boys with the name Yura, which have age less then 7 years!"
Soon the children of courtyard on Kartamyshevskaya street No 26 commenced to banter to call a girl "Дура" (Template:Lang-en) and a boy "Дурак" (Template:Lang-en) and sometimes said to Yura: "Yurick - durick". It was rhymed phrase. Durick (Template:Lang-ru) is transformation of the Russian word "дурак", on English it means "fool". The child, who was named as a fool, replied by the phrase: "Fools have luck always!" (Template:Lang-ru).
In 1970, the boy became very interesting for Intelligence subdivisions due to his play in hockey. The Soviet film Soviet film King Lear dated 1971, in which actor Oleg Dahl playes the role of Fool, was filmed in 1970 too. In the end of 1990-s Yura was informed, that each member of the Politburo of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union controled and was responsible for the results in one of the kind of sports. The same time about or earlier the boy Yura was mentiones in one of the foreign Intelligence subdivision as a Pinocchio.
Yuriy Andropov, he was a boy Yura too, became a Chairman of the Committee for State Security (KGB) from 18 of May 1967. On 21 of June 1967, Andropov was elected a candidate member of the Politburo, and six years later, on 27 April 1973, he became a member of the Politburo. Yuriy Andropov was responsible for the hockey.
The cause of investigations
Before 1995 Razvedupr and the former Soviet Intelligence subdivisions understood that the attempt to use another person instead of Jesus Christ failed. Jesus Christ was an allias of one person, around which the Operation Golgotha commenced in 1982 about. The Jesus Christ was back into Intelligence actions. Due to the obligations was not fulfilled by Razvedupr and due to deceit on the part of the former Soviet Intelligence subdivisions, he declared about intention to start own Demonstration Performances. This person has plenty aliases or call signs and one of them was Pinocchio, which was used more often them others. Mostly Intelligence subdivisions of various countries were not expected from beginning any interesting information except the humor and jokes. But preparations of the Itelligence subdivions took 2 years about to start this Demonstration Performances. The Demonstration Performances commenced in autumn 1997 and nobody was expecting that this Demonstration Performances will completed in the first part of 1999. It was no enough one or two days as everybody was thinking before. Moreover, this has required testing within the next 15 years, from 1999 to 2014.
One of plenty questions and themes which were discussed during the Demonstration Performances in 1997-1999 was the theme about the death of Soviet artist Oleg Dahl. During the Demonstration Performances one person from the Russian side declared to Pinocchio: "Dahl is you! It was not needed to do!" And conversations about Oleg Dahl commenced after this barracking. And the most people understood the double meaning of this barracking after re-listening to the conversation later.
This artist surname Dahl (Template:Lang-ru) has two meanings:
- Danish surname and the ancestors of this actor was the Danish nationals. In this case "Dahl" must be spelled with a capital letter "D".
- Russian word "даль", which neans a faraway site, place, country, part of Earth and this "dahl" (даль) placed very far, that difficulty or impossible to watch by eye or any equipment and difficulty to watch the situation or events there. In this case "Dahl" must be spelled with a small letter "d".
One reply by Pinocchio was appropriate for both meanings: "Do you want about dahl (Dahl), let start about Dahl (dahl)! I has not know for what reason it was needed for him. And this and it can be obtained from me". (Template:Lang-ru) Words "this" and "it" is spelling on Russian by one word "то" if the person and subject are far (otherwise must be "это", if close).
One more voise continued: "Pinocchio! You are not guilty for his death! It was not necessary for him to do". It turned the conversation to the cause of Oleg Dahl death only.
During the conversation, Pinnochio told that the episode of "King Lear", in which Oleg Dahl was talking a phrase "" from the TV screen to Pinocchio. This phrase was from Hamlet by Shakspeare and was in Soviet film Hamlet dated 1964, when Prince Hamlet was talking to the skull of Yorick. As per Pinocchio information, Oleg Dahl was dressed in the fool's dress from the Soviet film King Lear. Somebody, it was radio tallking, said that he mixed two film:
- Soviet film Hamlet dated 1964, in which Soviet actor Innokenty Smoktunovsky played the role of Hamlet and actor Oleg Dahl was not filmed in this movie.
- Soviet film King Lear dated 1971, in which actor Oleg Dahl playes the role of Fool and the role of Hamlet was absent in this movie.
Pinocchio argued that Oleg Dahl was in TV screen and he was dressed in the clothes of the fool from the film King Lear. And Pinocchio still doesn't understand why it was necessary to kill him. Oleg Dahl tried to scare him using this phrase and Pinocchio retorted with the response to Oleg Dahl in TV screen: "You are talking to me or to him?" At the same time Pinocchio turned his torso a little bit ago and pointed by a hand back, it was like someone was behind him. He was surprised that he was so many people watching and nobody saw it. One person of foreign Intelligence subdivision confirmed that he had seen too. Then some voices confirmed it from the Russian side. Like the people were afraid and finally somebody from Russian side said that can be it was mistake. Then, Pinocchio said: "And you want to say that nobody was seen Oleg Dahl with umbrella on Pinocchio TV screen too". Somebody replied that it had place and the French film The Umbrella Coup is parodied Pinocchio Intelligence activity due to Oleg Dahl tried to explain him with the umbrella via TV screen. Pinocchio continued: "Can be this episode was shown to me only and can be Oleg Dahl was planned for the movie Hamlet and was filmed some episodes for this reason? Can be he was filmed in the film King Lear and episode with the Dahl was taken and voiced with the text of hamlet? I remember that it had place and less then in one year Oleg Dahl died."
Next day or some days later, Pinocchio was at TV screen due to the Soviet film Hamlet dated 1964, in which Soviet actor Innokenty Smoktunovsky played the role of Hamlet, was showed in his TV. That time was not public Internet in Odessa yet and it was impossible to check the above mentioned.
Some days passed and the next round of Demonstration Performances was commenced by the exclaims to Pinocchio:
"Thanks for the Dahl! If not you, we will never know about it! You are not guilty! It was not necessary for Dahl to do it! Regarding Vysotsky is about clear also! You take Kozintsev in your collection too".
Pinocchio's collection. It was was collection of memories in his memory about actors and other people who was involved in close touch with his Intelligence activity regardless, the actor still alive or has died already. It was like half joke to call the names with memories about that people as his collection, but the same time he wished do not forget anyone, who was a victim of the Soviet Intelligence activity. And his collection includes good enough actors. Pinocchio had not know every artist or every film worker and did not understood regarding Kozintsev, but he understood that Vladimir Vysotsky was also involved in this events as the similar episode had place with Vysotsky, but without TV.
Today Internet permits to investigate the events, which were covered with darkness for a long time.
The events from 1962
Initially, it was not allowed Grigori Kozintsev to start the filming of the Hamlet. Important officials were perplexed: "Sixteen "Hamlets" has filmed in the World already, and for what reason one more?" But the Soviet Minister of culture Yekaterina Furtseva eventually allowed to start the film into production, but she set a severe condition: "The film must be in color". That settled the matter. The works for the filming began in February 1962. Oleg Dahl completed teatral education in 1962 and seems Grigori Kozintsev met him latter, when was ready to film King Lear.
Soviet film Hamlet by Kozintsev became the seventeenth film adaptation of Hamlet in world cinema. The movie Hamlet was released in the Soviet Union in 1964. It is interesting to note that, the movie took took 19th place in the movie-rental in the USSR, - the film was watched by 21 million viewers. And for the next four years, the film has collected over 20 different awards in foreign countries. For example, viewers in England considered the Soviet Hamlet" more modern than even Hamlet by Laurence Olivier! Such a success could not fail to notice in the Soviet Union. Therefore, in 1965, the Director of the film Kozintsev and the actor Innokenty Smoktunovsky were awarded the Lenin prize.
Why so many foreign awards this film got? Why the Soviet award was received one year later? Why viewers in England considered the Soviet Hamlet more modern than even Hamlet by Laurence Olivier? If search a Soviet politic, who looks like one of the characters of Shakespeare, and check political situation in 1962-1965, the situation will clear:
- 1962 year. Frol Kozlov was the main support of Nikita Khrushchev till midle of 1963. Oleg Kozlov, the son of Frol Kozlov was married daughter of Yekaterina Furtseva.
- 1963 year. The seakness of Frol Kozlov did not permite him to work and others were charged in his position.
- 1964 year. In October, Nikita Khrushchev was dismissed.
- Frol Kozlov died in January 1965. There was not any obstacles to award Kozintsev and the actor Innokenty Smoktunovsky in 1965.
Also the following is interesting:
- The Soviet Intelligence subdivisions used the system af names and surnames which resemble chief surname or his mother surname often:
- surname Kozlov was added from the word "козёл" (Template:Lang-en);
- children on Kartamyshevskaya street in Odessa song sang a song about goat;
- Griroriy Zhokovsky, why lived on Kartamyshevskaya street in Odessa, very liked a Soviet songer Ivan Kozlovsky;
- surname Kozintsev was added from the word "козёл" (Template:Lang-en).
The drops of the Danish King
Oleg Dahl completed teatral education in 1962 and seems Grigori Kozintsev met him latter, when was ready to film King Lear in 1969. The first his participation in teatral performance was tale The Naked King in 1963. The first interesting main male roles in the movie was in 1967. It was Soviet tragicomedy film Zhenya, Zhenechka and "katyusha". This film became popular due to the participation of Oleg Dahl and songs "The drops of the Danish King" by Bulat Okudzhava, which accompanied during the Oleg Dahl play in this film and after also. The population of the Soviet Union soon was informed that Dahl is a Danish surname and Oleg Dahl is kinship with the greatest Russian language lexicographers Vladimir Ivanovich Dal (1801-1872). Russian sources confirm it by the human test examinations. The following text is attached to the public notice about the examination of family ties between Oleg Dahl and Vladimir Dahl:
"So, Oleg Dahl is grandson in the fifth generation by V.I. Dahl on the side of the line. And what is it? So many talented people was born in Russia thus! Vasily Andreyevich Zhukovsky and Orest Adamovich Kiprensky are vivid examples of this."
The population of the Soviet Union mostly did not know in 1960-s the meaning of the worlds "the drops of the Danish King". Due to this song was used in the film during the blood of killed person was out from body and Oleg Dahl was close to this person in that moment, the most people understood the meaning of "the drops of the Danish King" as Oleg Dahl is "a descendant of a Danish King".
Famouse surnames of Tsar Russia and the Soviet Intelligence
From 1919, after October Revolution, and up to the collapse of the Soviet Union (1985-1991) the foreign Intelligence subdivisions used the famouse surnames of Tsat Russia and the Soviet Intelligence, including Family tree of the Russian Tsar also, to back the capitalist system on the Soviet Union territory. Sometimes the heirs of great and famous surnames have been false heirs. To prevent the effect of foreign intelligence subdivisions, the Soviet intelligence commenced similar activities by the persons, whci had and has great and famous surnames and were living on the territory of the Soviet Union. It is like opportunity of own heir of great or famous surname to the foreign heir of the same surname. Of course nobody wished to in Razvedupr introduce Oleg Dahl officially as a descendant of a Danish King, but his surname was interesting used by the Soviet Intelligence center. It is why any travelling of Oleg Dahl to any foreign country was prohibited til 1977 and only in one Socialist camp country he visited in 1977.
The above mentioned Yura-Yurick-Pinoccio-etc was a grandson of Grigoriy Zhukovsky family, which lived on Kartamyshevskaya street No 26, Odessa. The family ties of this Zhukovsky family in Odessa attributed to famouse Russian poet and writer Vasily Andreyevich Zhukovsky.
The name and surname of an Intelligence agent from the day of birth
Soviet Intelligence often used fairy tales and verses for coding. The Russian names of most person is possible to decode as a personage of a fairy tale or verse and when somebody use part of this verse or fairy tail during the talking another person understand that it can relate to the person with appropriate name, surname, surname, etc.
In 1825, famous Russian poet Alexander Pushkin wrote a verse "The song about prophetic Oleg" (Template:Lang-ru). Protetic is "вещий" on Russian and means a person wich able to give information about events wich will come soon. Danish surname Duhl, on Russian "Даль". Russian language has the word "даль", which has the same pronunciation and spelling, but means: long range area up to invisible places; very far placed territory or countries. Territory of all foreign countries can be named as "даль". As result the name Oleg Dahl can be decoded as a person, which able to give information about events or intentions in other country or countries. This meaning in Intelligence can means a spy or secret agent in any foreign country, better to say any foreign country ouside the Socialist camp countries. Of course to use a person with the name which must be alias is premature defeat, as Russian language know in many countries good. And Soviet Intelligence found out another choil to use the name Oleg Dahl and it is why he had not permition to traval outside the Soviet Union up to 1977 and after he visited only one Socialist camp country.
The Soviet movies, in which Oleg Dahl was filmed from 1967, are adventure films or fairy tayles films. The fairy tayles movies with Oleg Dahl participation were filmed up to 1968, and in this year Yura-Pinocchio commenced to visit school and the adventure films became more pleasure fo the school boy that fairy tailes. Oleg Dahl plaied rolls with adventure spirit, courage, sometimes including humor and the most of boys, wich were born in 1960-s, were passionate Oleg Dahl, they liked him and his fims' roles. He was like a rules of school boys in 1970s. And today, in 2010s, plenty Sovier born men speak about Oleg Dal with enthusiasm and understand why he was not awarded for his roles and he was not ranked as most famous actors of the Soviet Union.
Also the fairy-tale verse "The Tale of Tsar Saltan..." (1831) by Alexander Pushkin was used as a preparatory fabulously poetic program for Yuriy-Pinocchio. And the lines of this fairy-tale verse, which relate to this program, translated wrong on English.
Edward Thompson, the publisher of the book "Space of tragedy" by Kozintsev in England sent to Kozintsev the chapter of own memories, which was devoted to Grigori Kozintsev. In this chapter of memories mentioned that someone asked Kozintsev during the official reception in London in 1973:
... why the Fool remained up to the end in his "King Lear", and according to Shakespeare the Fool disappears in the third act? Kozintsev said: "I love this character, love this actor, and I could not admit that he died ever." Mr. Thomson wrote: "I was looking at Kozintsev and thought: I don't want that this man died ever." Kozintsev died two months after this meeting, in May 1973...
It happened in 1969, the year of commencement of the shooting of the Soviet film "King Lear". Kozintsev was then at a crossroads, as he planned actress Alisa Freindlich on the role of the Fool and she could not be filmed due to she was eight months pregnant. The director of other films Nadezhda Kosheverova offered to try Oleg Dahl on the role. Kozintsev invited Oleg Dahl to the role of the Fool in this film and this actor's tests were not done almost. A small test-shooting was carried out and Kosintsev was very glad. Introduction, a short conversation and the actor approved. So actor was taken to the role that will later be recognized as one of the best in his record list. Kozintsev never pressed prestige. But he could instantly be nervouse when I saw the lack of discipline, indifference, irresponsibility in work. In this case, he didn't spared any actor. He had forgave the only one person all failures. That person was Oleg Dahl. Even when the actor ripped off the last, hardest shooting, Kozintsev took the blame. Valentina Georgievna, the widow of film Director Kozintsev, recalled that Kozintsev explained then: "I feel sorry for him! He has no chance for survival!" (Template:Lang-ru)). These words are like scary and prophetic now. Dahl's Fool-Jester is naked skull, hopeless consciousness of his own helplessness in own eyes. Yorick, the Shakespeare personage in Hamlet, was a Jester, which skull was exhumed by the gravedigger. Seems Kozintsev know about the role of Oleg Dahl in Intelligence actions.
Skull, Fools and Hamlets
According to the Shecspeare personages, the Soviet Intelligence activities had appropriate alliases or call signs.
Sometimes an Intelligence actions could reach the apogee, when one or some persons wished to run from the death byrelieving guilt or action on someone else instead of himself or themself. That "someone" in this situation can be named as Skull or Yorick, from wich anly his scull will remain soon.
To start the boy in the reconnaissance operations, it is necessary to create an idol and prototype exploration. Therefore, after world war II, movies about spies in the enemy's rear began to shoot a lot. However, Pinocchio was a fussy boy. He didn't like movies with a dash of espionage films in which the enemy exhibited a clown, the films in which the moral behavior of our scouts was below the moral behavior of the enemy. A film without admixture of espionage and with good moral actions of the Soviet intelligence officer urgently required, as the boy was 13 years about and 3-4 years more and he will complete the school. It is why the surname of the Soviet Intelligence officer in this movie is Skorin, which was added from the Russian word "skoro" (Template:Lang-ru), which means quickly rapidly, as soon as possible. Oleg Dahl played as Skorin.
Soviet TV movie-series Variant "Omega" is about Soviet Intelligence officer without admixture of espionage, it is clear Inlelligence scouting and actions? which were clear from espionage. Of course Oleg Dahl had to be pleasant in all respects for this boy and can be for others boys also. Pinocchio watched the movie and he liked Oleg Dahl until Dahl (Skorin) decided to check the love razvale German officer to German women: when the German Frau sat on the horse, Skaryna (Dal) hit the rump of the horse and the horse ran wildly. The German officer jumped on his horse and rode after Frau to help her. But the Frau was not involved in the intelligence and action to risk life an innocent man could only scoundrel. From this moment Pinocchio liked the German officer in this movie, as he was a gentelman. Moreover, Irina Pechernikova, who played the German Frau, was his (Pinocchio) favorite actress in those years.
After short period, as Pinoccio remember less then half year, this movie was again on TV screens. But this time Pinocchio was looking all series of this movie except the serie wich above mentioned episode with German Frau and he forgot about this episode. This time Soviet Intelligence officer Skorin (Oleg Dahl) "win in Pinocchio eyes", it is Russian term. It permited to corect Pinoccio's opinion and action in accordance with the situation, depends of his "open eyes" or "closed eyes".
Oleg Dahl, the idol of Pinocchio, provoked children to use them for Intelligence activity. Like this shildren were used as baits, whic has Rissuan jargon "decoy duck", it is better to say "bait duck".
The scandal between Oleg Dahl and Innokentiy Smoktunovsky, 1978
"Holidays in September" is two-part drama Soviet film based on the piece "Duck hunting" by Alexander Vampilov. This film was filmed in 1979, but released in 1987 (8 years on the starage shelf). Long time some people including Pinocchio remenbered this film under name "Duck hunting" only and understood it accordingly.
